About this Project
The scope of the project was to carry out the design, fabrication and installation activities for replacement of the existing ladders with stairs and landing platform for safer access to the equipment on the Spillway superstructure at the Yarrawonga Weir gates. This included
- Design and certification of the new stairs and landings
- Fabrication and installation of the new stairs and landings
- Design and installation of the bird cage around the stairs
- Disposal of existing ladders
- Access ways to the existing ancillary assets
EDA was engaged to provide Project management services and undertake contract administration work, assessment of contractor documents and plans, claims, variations, day-to-day activities of the project. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in facilitating progress meetings, design and document reviews.
